    So you proved my point.

They lately have wet the bed in the playoffs.

They do not always wet the bed, which was my point.

To be fair, you proved his point. They wet the bed... since 2007

Absolutely. You can't judge the Patriots or Jets based on their regular season records.

As of late, the past couple of years or so, outside of one Indianapolis Super Bowl run, the AFC playoffs have been dominated by the more physical teams. New England is not one of those teams.

I think it's a little silly to say that a team can or can't perform well in the playoffs based on past performance. First off, there just aren't many payoff games to judge teams by. At least not in a recent enough time horizon for them to be relevant.

Second, you could argue that it's all irrelevant anyway. Teams take on different personalities from year-to-year. They get hot at different times year-to-year.

You may think you see trends because someone does something the same way for 2-3 years, but again that goes back to small sample size. That's as likely to be coincidence as a trend.

    No.

The point I contested was they "always" wet the bed. It's only been recently as they do have three rings.

Ergo, nothing "always" about them losing in the playoffs.

It was actually "every time" not "always" but whose counting.

That aside I'm sure the Superbowl wins where excluded from that statement.

The point remains they shit the bed in the playoffs since 2007. Do I think that happens this year? Too early to tell, show me a team that can get consistent pressure with the front 4 and play descent press coverage and I think this year will be the same as last for them.
