    espn power ranking

    http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/powerr...on=2007&week=0

1st good ranking I've seen. Probably the most realistic and spot on.

Pats at 1, colts at 2, chargers at 3, ravens at 4

And the comments to go with the ratings are probably the best i've seen. Dead on.

With all the coaching changes and such in San Diego I just can’t see them ranking quite that high… Not saying they are Cleveland or Oakland or anything but I just think they will take a step back this season.

We on the other hand – I expect to go up a notch or two!
    Miami here we come.

(what color is the tint in my glasses again?)

    One Name: LaDamian Tomlinson

Thats why they are #3. That and a killer defense. It makes sense.

If McGahee is as billed, and McNair gives us enough, or Smith or Boller can step up, than we can easily be #2 or #3 IMO.

San Diego is just more explosive offensively right now on paper.

Yeah… I guess I get tired of hearing about SD out here… it isn’t like they have a local team to support or anything.
(which is why I’m trying to convert them all into Ravens fans – as they should be).

I have no problem with the rankings as is, but I don't think the Colts will be as good this season. I'd probably put them at 4, with 1-3 being NE, SD, Baltimore.

here's hoping the Patriots will implode.
