Anybody see fines/suspensions coming?
Just heard a quick blurb on 98 rock that we might expect some action from the league on the extra-curriculars in the 2nd half.
Anybody with a take on that.....?
I thought the flag against Pitt where the guy hit Oher n the head was appropropriate but they never showed what happened. The announcers said Oher shouldn't have retalliated but I think its a good move for the league and the refs to flag the instigators....NOT the retaliators.
I also liked the fire R Rice had in jumping in with Polamolu but I'd rather he stay outta the fray unless playing peacemaker....coulda been a few ejections at that point.

Fines yes. Suspensions no.

Yeah a couple guys on both teams will get fines. But no suspensions.

Re: Anybody see fines/suspensions coming?
Oh and by the way....
That was the FINEST smackdown performance I can recall against the Steelers...and it was by LOTS of playerers Suggs,
Jarret Johnson blowing up H Ward!!!!!!! LOVED that!
Ed Reed
Ray Lewis
Haloti Ngata !!!!!!!!!!! whatta game!!!!!!! Caused a fumble, Batted one for an INT, grabbed a fumble...he was a one man demolition team.
The offense looked very, very sharp and the O-line in particular. Maybe we oughta have a short offseason every year!

Right after it happened I expected a few ejections on each team. Glad that didn't happen to us. Fines, most certainly, suspensions who knows?

We'll see some fines, but that's about it. It showed how frustrated and beaten the Steelers were today, that they had to start fights on the field.

Nothing happened to justify a suspension
Be a few fines

Re: Anybody see fines/suspensions coming?
I thought an ejection was coming for sure when Polamalu punched Rice. Towards the end, one of the refs ended up on his butt. Usually, that means someone contacted a ref and that is automatic ejection, but nothing happened.
Yeah, I'd be suprised if there are suspensions. Fines are more likely. Remember the Finnegan-AJ fight last year? No one suspended, just fined..

Polamalu and Ike taylor will get the most of it. Completely unprofessional today.

Lost a lot of respect for Troy Polamalu today. Thought he was more of a level-headed guy than that.
The whole situation was to be expected. We embarrassed them. They got mad.
I could see Ike, Troy, and possibly Rice getting a fine or something.Disclaimer: The content posted is of my own opinion.
