NFL Suspends Ravens O-line Coach
Aaron Wilson just tweeted that Andy Moeller has been suspended 2 games for his 2 DUIs. About time the NFL started suspending coaches. This was a bad hire by the Ravens

I dont like coaches getting in trouble. Doesnt even sound right. What example are they setting for the players when they themselves break the law. Hopefully they correct this mistake after the season if not during.

Bisciotti said that Moeller was down to his last strike before the organization did something about this after 3 DUIs since 2007. Then he promoted him. Great way to send a message Steve

Good thing our O-line doesn't have a lot to work on right now.

We all make mistakes, but there are consequences (for most of us). Time to prepare for a new O line coach. Do we have a good asst O line coach on staff?

Are the coaches suspended for practices or only games? Aren't suspended players still allowed/expected to practice? The consequence being not collecting game checks?
In that case, the o-line coach does very little on gameday, especially with the veteran group we have.

If it's just banned from the sideline on gameday it's an issue but not a critical one
Matt Birk a veteran and can take the lead. I would figure that's what happens anyway
Once he can still work in the facility that's where the real work will be done
His assistant can be instructed to work gameday, be good experience for him

Todd Washington joined the Ravens’ coaching staff in February, 2011, as Baltimore’s assistant offensive line coach. Washington, who played eight years as a center/guard in the NFL, was most recently the offensive line coach for the UFL’s Hartford Colonials in 2010. Prior to that, the former Buccaneers’ fourth-round draft pick (1998) spent one year as the University of San Diego’s offensive coordinator after guiding USD’s offensive line to success in his initial two coaching seasons.

The firm I work for fired an employee after 1 DUI a couple of years back. Football or not drunk driving is serious
