I completely agree with the Luck statement, but why did they draft Kaepernick? He is a huge project and they used a high pick on him...

That is a stunner. Del Rio has always been a huge supporter of Garrard. Garrard is not the most talented player but he's a gamer and works very hard plus he's proven that he can win games. I'd love to have him on the Ravens.

The Colts should dump Collins and grab him.

He's got experience, better than Smith or Jackson. He's also a straight-up, class act.

Hee hee. As I recall, Palmer did pretty well against the Dodgers - maybe this is a GOOD comparison?

Can't BELIEVE the Jags would flat out cut him like that.

I'd love to see him come here, but I could see him getting some interest to start in Seattle, San Fran, and maybe even Cinci.
I totally agree, but if we could offer him a 1 year contract he may want to come here to win a Super Bowl?:D

Garrard is an all around solid guy. would be a super smart move for the colts to pick him up.

...And with the first pick in the 2012 NFL Draft the Jacksonville (L.A.) Jaguars select Andrew Luck, QB, Stanford.

Kaepernick looked great at the senior bowl and at the combine.

Using a 2nd rounder on a QB isn't that big of a deal. It's not like they used a top 10 pick on him. If he comes in and just gets it out there then I could see them passing on Andrew Luck. I just don't see it. The Niners need a franchise QB, Luck would immediately step in and know Harbaugh's offense and coaching style.

That would be a very smart move. Doubt it happens but if I was an Indy fan I'd be all for it.

They won't give up on Gabbert that quickly.

I can see why those options would be attractive for him, but if I'm him I would look at signing a one-year contract with the Ravens.

It's a proven organization, top talent, it will give him time to learn the system, and he won't be thrown into a losing situation where his value might drop.

Look how much Kolb ended up getting with very little playing time.

Unlikely he'll come here to be a back-up I'd have thought. Teams out there that need a better starter, like San Fran, should be calling him up offering him a spot.
