The Crazy Newshound has found a new Ravens article.

The Baltimore Ravens have agreed to a one-year deal with former Dallas Cowboys Pro Bowl center Andre Gurode.

The deal was announced Sunday and will become official when he passes a physical.

"We just got better as a team," Ravens general manager Ozzie Newsome said. "To have a successful season, you have to have quality depth across the board. We just added great depth to the interior of our offensive line with Andre."

Gurode was signed to play behind six-time Pro Bowl center Matt Birk, who had surgery on his left knee at the beginning of training camp.

Gurode was cut by the Cowboys last week.

He visited the Seattle Seahawks, Detroit Lions and the New England Patriots before agreeing to terms with the Ravens.

The Ravens also added the following players to the practice squad:

RB Damien Berry (Rookie, Miami)
G/C Justin Boren (Rookie, Ohio State)
QB Hunter Cantwell (1st Year, Louisville)
DB Danny Gorrer (2nd Year, Texas A&M)
DT Bryan Hall (Rookie, Arkansas State)
FB Ryan Mahaffey (Rookie, Northern Iowa)
S Mana Silva (Rookie, Hawaii)
LB Chavis Williams (Rookie, Alabama)
