Agree with this, but Pagano clearly has a different attitude when it comes to creating confusion and sending people from different angles. He's also clearly more aggressive.

Mattison was a terrible fit for this defense, IMO.

That wasn't CBs, that was scheme. Figure that Webb, Williams, Foxworth, Carr...they were all here last year

Wasn't it Cam that said something about Joe needing to lead Boldin a bit instead of waiting for him to get open? Maybe this is Joe trying to find a good "lead" to Boldin for when he's one on one?
