Curious: Are you all celebrating Thanksgiving across the pond for the Mayflower crew's dumping your paupers, debtors, lepers, criminals etc on our New England Coast?
In a 2003 BBC poll that asked Brits to name the "Greatest American Ever", Mr. T came in fourth, behind ML King (3rd), Abe Lincoln (2nd) and Homer Simpson (1st).

Re: Thanksgiving v 49ers
Mista T. you raise an intersesting point about Thanksgiving, I think it is accpted that the original pilgrims were a bunch of nutters, ill-prepared for the trip. However, most festivals - religious or otherwise, don't bear close scritiny.
The Ravens are playing on TV / Fells Point and family are trying to come to us for an event. Why not do the whole Turkey / tailgate / match thing?"We ain't stinking Redskins fans in this Town sonny!"

What's the nearest Airport to you Dave? Me and Katie are both off this week I think, and if you don't mind having the two of us down (and we can get down there relatively cheap) we'd definitely be up for this.

Check out flights to either Manchester or Leeds/Bradford - work out which is cheapest - I can collect from either!:celery
