Perry double degit lead over Mitt,Bachman

    Latest Rasmussen poll has it:

    Perry - 29%

    Romney - 18%

Bachman - 13% - after she won straw vote in Iowa.

Elsewhere, OBY THE PREZ warns Perry to watch the mouth,
like he doesn't, calling the Tea Party terrorists and hostage takers.

Bush never raised taxes on the middle class. 80% of his tax cuts went to the middle class.

I wish people would get their shit straight when trying to revise history.

    EXACTLY!

It has been said in these parts numerous times! Bush's tax cuts went to EVERYONE, that's why Obama wanted to "extend them for the middle class"

If any one of your Liberal/Progressive/Socialist friends wishes to bitch about Perry and/or Texas jobs, just point them to this link right HERE. The last 4 paragraphs are gold and should quiet any naysayers.

It really is fun shutting up Liberals with reality!! :D

I wasn't going to respond to Steve's post but I would have said I appreciated the
check I got - Keynesian as it was. Didn't spend it like Reagan's check. Neither did anyone else.
People saved their checks so it didn't help out the economy.

Meanwhile, OBY THE PREZ will release his JOBS PLAN - after vacation.

    Of course! After vacation.

Note ice cream cone he eats while millions of Americans are starving to death.

Here's a link where W's top economic adviser tried to talk him out of the rebates saying
it would be "bad policy." Bush told him to never use those words again. He said what
words? Bad policy and W promptly dismissed him.

the adviser was right. Subsequent analysis showed that the rebate had virtually no stimulative effect,
    exactly as economic theory predicted.

    This is just silly.

Bush and Perry cannot stand each other precisely because Perry was the more conservative of the two and bashed W when he was Governor any chance he got -- and rightfully so.

Mark my words. All of Bush's old cronies will be out in full force doing their best the thwart Perry's campaign.

He is a nut because he doesn't believe in a welfare state, huh Galen? Lets be honest here based on your nearly socialistic views anyone who doesn't want outright class warfare is a nut to you.

Well, if Perry is a nut then I'm a squirrel.

Here's to hoping there are plenty of more squirrels out there enamored with the nuts. Nothing would make us "socialist class warfare" lovers happier than to see a guy like Perry win the nomination.
