Really? He has only 2 wins. Having Guthrie on the O's is like having Kyle Boller back on Ravens.

He has 5 wins, but that doesn't make a difference. Wins don't mean a damn thing in baseball. John Danks and Matt Garza also have 5 wins. Should their respective teams cut them too? Jake Arrieta has 3 more wins than Ubaldo Jimenez, does that mean Arrieta is the better pitcher?

Don't hold your breathe. There will never be another team with four 20 game winners ever again.

But the old ways dont work anymore unless MLB installs a salary cap like the NFL has. Its a money game now. Yankees and Redsox do not have a good farm system thats why they spend on free agents to win. If O's fans would do like Colts fans did 30 years ago then Mr Angelos might ether sell the club or move the O's somewhere else and were get another team in Baltimore. Perhaps steal the Dodgers from L.A Like we stole the Browns from Cleveland to get the Ravens. Look at those pitchers for example. They came from Bowie or from Norfolk. Thats not the way to build a winning team. It might work back in 50s,60s,70s but it doesnt work anymore. The way to turn O's into winners any get a couple 20 game winners is by the free agent market. Like Angelos will never allow Justin Verlander or Roy Halladay come to Baltimore.Nor he wont allow Jonathan Papelbon come to Baltimore. So why not stop supporting the O's and let Mr Angelos make his next move when he sees only 5,000 fans a game in camden yards. Remember the A's only Drew around 1,000 fans a game in Oakland back in late 70s and Charley Finley was just about to move the A's to Denver but Bowie Kuhn wouldnt allow the A's to move to Denver. So maybe the O's are better off in Montreal let the fans in Canada watch another bunch of losers. And were watch a better team the Dodgers in Baltimore.Heres what the Dodgers would look like in Baltimore

Its true isnt it? Why you think Paris Glendenning called Art Modell for? The same reason Indy Mayor William Hudnut called Irsay to lured the Colts to Indy. Heres the story if you dont believe me.
    http://www.daytondailynews.com/dayto...m-1137347.html

    Heres the Irsay Hudnut story

Owner Robert Irsay, who acquired the Colts in 1972, wanted the city of Baltimore to upgrade its stadium. But with attendance dwindling and the team playing poorly, city officials were wary of such an investment. Relations between Irsay and the city worsened, and he began shopping his team around to other cities hungry for an NFL franchise.

Among the cities who very much wanted a team was Indianapolis. Under the administrations of mayors Richard Lugar and William Hudnut, the city was making an ambitious effort to reinvent itself into a `Great American City.' The Hoosier Dome (later renamed the RCA Dome) had been built and was ready for an NFL expansion team.

The deal to bring the Colts to Indianapolis came together in late March 1984 and Irsay and Hudnut arranged for the franchise to move from Baltimore immediately, and secretly, overnight, before the official announcement on March 29.

Sounds Familiar huh? So we did steal the Browns from Cleveland same reason Hudnut lured Irsay to Indy. Ask Admin steve he remembers what went on March 29th 1984.

WHAT YOU SAY NOW bmorebirds_24? STILL THINK IM WRONG EH? GREGG CANT EVEN GET ONE GOD DAMN SINGLE OUT!!! YOU STILL THINK O'S BELONG IN BALTIMORE? Sure I want baseball in Baltimore BUT WITHOUT PETER ANGELOS! samething Colt fans been pleading for. They love the Colts but as long IRSAY Doesnt own them. Thats why Colts fans ran Irsay outta town why dont O's fans run ANGELOS OUTTA TOWN TOO?
