    Very sad to hear this news. Actually was lucky enough to meet him once by chance about 16 yrs ago and he was gracious enough to talk with me for about 10 minutes. Seemed to be the kinda guy who had fun with everything he did. RIP Bubba thanks for the memories

    RIP, Charles "Bubba" Smith.

    #78 was big, strong and fast. Kill Bubba Kill was the call often during his time at 33rd Street, but his career here came to an end because a linesman did not get the first down markers out of the way.

    Another, Baltimore Colt is gone. That is very sad.
