Re: Premier -- The Great Perception Experiment Thread

    Steelers - W
    @ Titans - W
    @ Rams - W
    Jets - L
    bye
    Texans - W
    @ Jaguars - W
Cardinals (game vs Todd Heap's new team) - W
@ Steelers - L (I always predict the Ravens spilt with the Steelers)
    @ Seahawks - W
    Bengals - W
    49ers - W
@ Browns - L (I always predict a split with the Browns also)
Colts - L (only because I think I may have too many W's on this list already)
@ Chargers - W (many say the Steelers have our number, I think the Ravens have their number)
    Browns - W
@ Bengals - W (too much turn over to say that they will split this year)

That is 12-4, which may be too homerific, but I like the chances based on the teams the Ravens play this year. This is also based on the Ravens not getting bit by the injury bug. I also think that the Ravens will win the AFC North and be the only team from the AFC North to make the playoffs, AFC South and East providing the wildcard teams.

I know it was just supposed to be one prediction, but I couldn't help myself.

    SB--
No problem. I recall a few seasons when it was much easier to look at every game and make a call, then add up the W's and L's, than to try and make an overall prediction off the top of one's tete! When you start looking at specific opponents, time of year you play them and where (hot v. cold weather, outdoors v. dome, home v. away, early season v. late, etc), and so forth, it often helps to shed more light on how the team will fare overall.

    Bert-
Can I get an "Amen!" and a prediction? :D ;)

11-5, one very disappointing loss on the road away from winning the division. Still good enough for the wildcard, again a big win on the road against the AFC West's representative, and who knows from there, depends on the opponents. We have a good chance at a deep run if everyone can stay healthy.

11-5 and meet the Colts in the wildcard round as the Texans win the AFC South

Split with the Steelers, sweep the Bengals and I think split with the Browns, I can see a loss in Cleveland

Beau, it feels like home again now that this thread is posted..

    11-4-1

Cause I ALWAYS predict a tie game for us in the regular season. This year I say the tie will be versus the Bengals at home on 11/20.

Re: Premier -- The Great Perception Experiment Thread

This is assuming we do nothing else in FA, I will post again at the end of FA with adjustments

    Steelers - L
    @ Titans - W
    @ Rams - W
    Jets - L
    Texans - L
    @ Jaguars - W
    Cardinals - W
    @ Steelers - L
    @ Seahawks - W
    Bengals - W
    49ers - W
    @ Browns - W
    Colts - L
    @ Chargers - L
    Browns - W
    @ Bengals - W

That makes us 10 - 6 which may or may not get us in the post season based on the past two years of AFC wild card records. I also think there is a very good chance for another L in there somewhere but can't place where. With all the youth I am sure there will be a game where there are a lot of rookie non-clutch moments late to lose it for us.
