RB-
Thanks, i just deactivated that account. I hadn't looked at it since last year. As Beau said, there is another guy posting as SDS. Sounds like it might be the dissapointed fat Steeler girl who's picture i posted, after the Superbowl, crying in her 15000 calorie meal.

Re: Predict Ravens record
I think it's no stretch to say that this could be a 12 win team.
I'm going to say 10-6 is where we're headed.

Re: Predict Ravens record
Hard to guess at this point, but 10-6 seems very possible.

Re: Predict Ravens record
Since the Ravens play at Philly tonite to open their pre-season game schedule, I'm thinking this can be a last call courtesy bump. Anyone who wants to revise what they've already posted should add a new post if desired, otherwise I'll go with what is already posted. If you haven't already posted a prediction on what you think the Ravens regular season record will be, please feel free to add it today. Fans of other teams (as distasteful as you and your team may be! :D ;)) are also welcome to make a guess.
I plan to copy the results in this thread to my hard drive and summarize the results. Then during the Fri, 9/2 - Sat, 9/10 timeframe (after last pre-season game/prior to 1st regular season game) I'll start a separate thread again asking for predictions and do the same summary.
For tonite, GO RAVENS!, and NO injuries for either team.

Re: Predict Ravens record
Okay, bearing in mind that this is a Pre-Pre-Season prediction thread :bag:
With the current state of the O line, the lack of depth at several positions, and the questions about the coaching staff that remain from last year regarding their ability to properly use the talent given them
I'll say 8-8 at this time hon
(and of course i hope i'm dead wrong )Twenty years of Cheers.
Thanks Baltimore Ravens Fans - You're the Best!

RFD--
No problems, my friend, your comments reflect why I think the "GAWD, We're DOOMED!" and the "Super Bowl, Here We Come!" threads are a bit misguided not to mentione premature when we haven't finalized the roster, haven't seen any "live" action v. another team, don't know who will or won't be injured, can't tell what the EU will do with the Euro, .....ooops, sorry, got carried away there!:o

Re: Predict Ravens record
We win every game 72-0. Oh, and Ricky Proehl!
OR
10-6 with a late play-off loss - but not to the Stillers...
Just think we are going to have too many line issues to win a SB. That said, I've been wrong before - just ask my wife

Re: Predict Ravens record
Big--
After much parsing and analysis of your post, I'll put you down as 10-6! ;)

Re: Predict Ravens record
11-5
Early losses to the steelers, jets, and texans. After 2-3 start, the team finds its identity and wins the next 7 games. Couple more losses to the colts and chargers and the ravens head into the playoffs for the 4th straight year.
