Thread: Around the NFL

La Canfora just mentioned Baltimore, when speaking of a trade for Osi on NFL Network. BTW, how dumb is Mike Brown for trading Chad for a late round pick in 2012 and 2013, and just letting Carson "retire" instead of getiing something for him too?!

    Mario Williams.

    I got that feeling.

Think about it. The Texans took JJ Watt in the 1st round. They like Connor Barwin as one OLB, Brian Cushing can play OLB or ILB, and they took Brooks Reed in the 2nd round (3-4 OLB) who was widley believed to be one of the best pass rushers available.

He's also in the last year of his rookie deal.

I don't smoke, but you can pass me some of that shit you are smoking! I'd toke and take that deal, but I'm afraid it is more joke than smoke.

I hate to agree with Jamie Dukes, but he's saying Chad is a bad fit, talks to much for the "Patriot Way".

A deal that's paying him around 14 mil THIS YEAR.

And what's going to cost us in a trade?

    A 1st and a 4th? 1st and a 3rd?

    Just not going to happen

I'd give up a 1st & 3rd for Williams, that would be a steal for a bonafied pass rusher that can play the run game. I don't see how the Texans can get rid of the cornerstone of their D.

Chad to the Patriots isn't a good move. Either one of the TEs is a better receiving option than him, in that offense
