That signing shows some character. Johnson could have gotten that same money anywhere. He chose to be part of the rebuilding in Carolina. If they are good a couple of years from now Charles Johnson will be a big reason why. Originally Posted by BLSmokey

Looks like the Holmes rumors were premature(that's what she said). Jets talking to Holmes but no deal yet.

IMO, the risk of Holmes getting a year-long suspension is too high for the huge contract he's going to get. His skillset & clutchness are top-notch, but he's a high-risk signing.
Rice is younger and clean.
