In one of the Pitt papers last week I read that the couple has dated 'on and off' for 5 years. Sorry don't have a link for it, but know I've read elsewhere that she's been in his life for awhile, albeit not always as a steady girlfriend.

It's understandable. I know a lot of girls that date dudes and then get upset and break it off for a little while when they rape someone else a few times.
