I wonder how WFAN tried to back out of their dopey statement. Pre Sirius I used to listen to Mike Francesa and Chris 'Mad Dog' Russo every day. Once Sirius NFL Radio came along I never turned that station on again. Just reading their announcement I can see how desperate they've become.

One element of an extended lockout would be the health of the players. In the owners' view, the health of star players. We all remember how deflated the league was when Tom Brady tore his ACL.
What will be the response from the varying parties concerns if many star players were out with more injuries than normal, because of this extended lockout?
