Zbikowski Flunks Drug Test

Baltimore Ravens safety-turned-boxer Tom Zbikowski failed a drug test after a fight on Saturday night. The Chickasaw Nation Boxing Commission suspended him 45 days as a result.

I mean seriously, 11 NFL players get arrested during the lockout and now he pops hot for PED's (most likely).

Early word is that it's not PED's...

Appeal is under way...he gets suspended from boxing for 45 days.

According to what I read, literally every fighter at the event popped positive. Methinks a failure in the testing procedure is possible.

His boxing coach, Mike Joyce, told the Chicago Sun-Times they planned to appeal the test result, which they believed was in error.

"After the fight, all the fighters tested were positive," Joyce told the paper. "They had you pee in a cup and put a strip of something in there. I've never seen results where you get them the day of the fight. It was like a home pregnancy test or something."

Joyce said there would be a new test on Tuesday.

Definitely strange that every boxer tested positive.
But in the Olympics they take an A sample and a B sample.
If there issues like this they go to the B sample, it's a backup

Maybe the tester was smoking lol!
Something has gone wrong somewhere in the process I think

I can see this getting thrown out and apology issued to all the boxers

Not really. I do not want him getting beat up, just getting in some work and getting ready for the NFL season.

It looks like whoever was doing the testing was smoking a fat blunt at the time, or all the boxers had a clambake in the parking lot before the fights.
HGH or steroids I would have believed, but Zbi does not look like a stoner at all.

If true, this makes me think Zbikowski was probably not at fault -- probably something wrong with the testing. He doesn't seem to need any chemical help to beat up the bums he has been fighting.
