OT : Caps playing in Baltimore

PSL owners, this morning, received an email about the Capitals/Predators game in September with passcode for presale. TicketMaster opened up at 10AM and I still have not been able to get 1 ticket, no matter what I choose.

Anyone else having luck with this?

They sent out a corrected email with link yesterday.

Could care less about preseason hickey though. No thanks.

Some of us appreciate the fact they are playing a hockey game in Baltimore. It does not matter that it is preseason or not. If you followed hockey, you would realize that not only are you seeing the Washington Capitals, but you are also seeing the Hershey Bears and the Raleigh IceCaps.

    To each his own ...

I don't do pre-season anything. When I get my Ravens season tix, the first thing I do is unload the pre-season games. Don't do pre-season baseball either.

I do not care about preseason football either, but since we do not have hockey in Baltimore, we have to take advantage it.

    I disagree.

1st Mariner Arena is horribly inadequate and incredibly dated.

If Verizon Center wasn't 30 minutes south, I'd agree with you that you need to take advantage of it.

But that Arena is bad enough to keep me away from just about anything -- except U2.

Has anyone else heard the radio spots for this?

There isn't one mention of it being a preseason game.

    I couldn't believe it.

They are calling it the "Baltimore Hockey Classic" and mention Ovechkin and Backstrom. Are they even guaranteed to play?

    Very deceiving.

I'd be shocked if Ovie and Nicky are on the ice at the same time, if at all.

It's not about the arena. You obviously have no clue about hockey what so ever, Houston. I highly doubt this game is about getting a hockey team in Baltimore. Did you ever know the Caps do a clinic at Patterson Ice Rink for youths? Christ everyone knows the 1st Mariner Arena is outdated

I was giving my opinion on the arena conditions as it relates to the games draw. Relax, slappy.

The game is about expanding the Caps fan base into Baltimore -- an effort I am in full support.
