Re: It's official: Cameron will be back as OC
One way or another, I think Bisciotti wants change. Maybe Cam stays, but I think he's only allowed to stay if he adjusts the way he approaches his work and changes his "work alone" attitude.

Re: It's official: Cameron will be back as OC
I have 2 questions, if someone could answer please...
first, what exactly did the "famous" Al Saunders do for the Ravens this year?
second, if Cam is coming back, could that indicate that all season Cam was actually following direction (strategic and philopshy) he received from Harbs?

The only way Cam is going is if there is a better option out there. They aren't going to fire him for the sake of it.

I never said Cam was gone for sure. The team's looking for an upgrade so they will not fire him for firing sake.
If they get someone who they feel fits that upgrade, they will pull the trigger. In the mean time, the is hope he moves on to a college job so they won't have to make it ugly.
Got it, Hemingway?

Re: It's official: Cameron will be back as OC
I think if we're getting rid of Cameron, it'll happen in the next week, likely today or tomorrow.
As far as I know, none of the 4 OCs from the current playoff teams are in jeopardy of losing their jobs, and none of their current assistants really inspire salivation. I would love to have Brian Schottenheimer as OC, but Jets aren't firing him if they lose this weekend, even though they were letting OL coach Bill Callahan have more of the playcalling duties. And I'm not sure Bill Callahan is an upgrade over Cam either.
So if there's an upgrade out there, they are already in play. The longer we wait, the less likely they come. McDaniels is with the Rams now. Childress is the only name we're hearing as a big splash potentially. I don't think we promote Saunders to OC ahead of Oakland hiring him. Same with Zorn..
