Peter King predicts the Sunday game
Oakland (0-1) at Baltimore (1-0)
The Raiders might be the worst team in the history of the world. Fitting that Aaron Brooks is the quarterback.
Baltimore 51, Oakland 3

“When I think of a Baltimore Raven - we go in there, we take your lunch box, we take your sandwich, we take your juice box, we take your applesauce, and we take your spork and we break it. And we leave you with an empty lunch. That’s the Baltimore Raven way.” - Steve Smith Sr.
Call me a Special Teams coach again. I dare you! I double dare you, MFer!

Re: Peter King predicts the Sunday game
I think we will blow them out, but 51 is too high. If we get up 27, 30 points, half of our starters will be out of the game and we are just going to be running it.
''You'd love to go on the first day but I'm glad for the situation I'm in,'' he said. ''Baltimore knows how to play defense.''

Re: Peter King predicts the Sunday game
I just want one game at home that is a laugher by halftime....so we can sit back and just goof the whole second half and not sit on pins and needles.....

Re: Peter King predicts the Sunday game
We're literally asking to fall on our faces with all this blowout talk. I hope we do blow them out, but I'll take a win by last second field goal, as always.

Re: Peter King predicts the Sunday game
hey fellspoint what position are you playing sunday???
we as fans don't play the game. As long as the fans stay focused we will be fine.
Here is an excerpt from BaltimoreRavens.com
"That's like a boxer watching a previous fight - somebody getting knocked out in the first round, and then they come in and take their opponent lightly and they get knocked out," said linebacker Ray Lewis, who was voted the AFC's Defensive Player of the Week for his 10-tackle, one sack showing. "We're not going to do that."Last edited by Ravens0587; 09-14-2006 at 03:59 PM.

What I posted on YBR about this:
WOW! 52-3, I think Mr. King needs to dial down his expectations down from 11. We shut-out a good team on the road, but its not like they were the 99 Rams. People need to settle down about a week 1 win.

I will of course be shouting my head off and screaming for 50 points come Sunday at 1pm, though.
