Re: Thursday's Injury Report: Ravens v. Bills
Except Jared Gaither adds exactly ZERO great left tackles to the number of great left tackles available. He does add 1 to the number of reasonably talented underachievers.
If a guy with the work ethic of say a Marshall Yanda had the pure physical talent of Jared Gaither, he'd be the best LT in the league... instead Jared is a thoroughly average player BEFORE this whole mystery back injury and now you really think someone's gonna pay him top dollar? Go back and rewatch last season, that guy got more help on the left side in one game than Oher's gotten thus far in the season.

Re: Thursday's Injury Report: Ravens v. Bills
I agree Gaither adds zero great LT to the # of great LT available. I didnt say he was a great LT I said there are not alot of great LT out there.
Gaither is an above avg LT when healthy and has the potential to be a great LT and every year NFL teams who need help at LT pay above avg LT top dollar that they may or may not deserve to have the opportunity to make that player great
