    McDonalds to drop health plan?

They sent a memo to the feds they may do it.

This is one of the consequences we told Galen's libs about when it
was being debated and we specifically mentioned the 85% hit.

McDonald's, in a memo to federal officials, said "it would be economically prohibitive for our carrier to continue offering" the mini-med plan unless it got an exemption from the requirement to spend 80% to 85% of premiums on benefits. Officials said McDonald's would probably have to hit the 85% figure, which applies to larger group plans. Its insurer, BCS Insurance Group of Oak Brook Terrace, Ill., declined to comment.

Aetna insures the Fed Gov't, Disney World and Block Busters, Home Depot and CVS among its giant clientele.
I have the Standard Option which isn't the high option. It's a limited one, still not bad but I said I'd lose my
    benefits.

Aetna declined to comment; it has previously indicated that the requirement could hurt its limited benefit plans.

McDonald's can apply for a waiver which they may or may not get and thus the question mark in the thread's
    title.

Good luck Mac. This is what The Kenyan and his central planners wanted to happen. It’s all by design.
