Re: Preseason Week 4
On the plus side, MTSU and Minnesota are tied in the second half. So at least that game is competitive.
ESPNU if your looking. 208 on Directv- Section 133 for eternity!

Re: Preseason Week 4
Has Jalen Parmele really locked up the KR job?
Because Reed sure looks the part out there. And Steele is running better than Parmele at RB tonight.

Enjoying the Bolts carve up the 49ers in my hotel. Far better football than what everyone is talking about on the boards

Re: Preseason Week 4
Interesting fact about the Indy-Cincy game...
The leading rusher for each team was a former Raven draft pick...
Bengals led by Cedric Peerman, 6 carries 100 yards, 93 yard TD
Colts led by Allen Patrick, a 7th round pick from a few years ago. 8 carries, 33 yards..

Re: Preseason Week 4
Wow. I turn the game off for a while, turn it back on and Troy Smith STILL cannot complete a pass. Eron Riley open in the middle and Smith has PLENTY of time to throw it and can't hit him.
How in the world did this guy win the Heisman???
As I said, he won't be here next week.

You know, maybe we were. But since said poster is on my ignore list, I didn't know until you said something.
And what a completely shitty way to end this game. Smith sacked twice, Eron Riley injured (and likely not making the team anyway), and the look on John Harbaugh's face says it all.
If Troy Smith is on the roster next week, it's because he has pictures of Ozzie, Harbaugh AND Steve Bisciotti.

Re: Preseason Week 4
That last drive was a perfect representation of Troy Smith's time in Baltimore: flares of good decision making and smart throws, spurts of great athleticism and ultimately, an inability to finish strong and win. Goodbye Troy, good luck elsewhere.

Re: Preseason Week 4
This was such a dismal thing to watch on so many levels.
First, realizing that this abortion of a football game is an inditement of our depth; secondly, watching the NFL dreams of these guys dry up in such an inglorious fashion.
Remind me to never watch another fourth preseason game -- especially when it's led by Troy "Fastball" Smith!:grbac:"You don't adjust. You just dominate."
