$12 million guaranteed? Damn, a lot of money for a guy who sucked big time last year.

I just read on ESPN.com, John Clayton is reporting that Porter got a 5 year $32 million contract w/ $20 million guarenteed. A lot of $$$ for a guy on a downward spiral. At least he won't be here, I hope that was never seriously considered!!!

By all reports, Johnson was already signed by the time the porter lobbied the Ravens, so in all reality, there never was a real basis for the rumor outside porter's agent stirring up interest and us message board folk discussing the possibilities.

Better Miami than us is all I gotta say. I don't think his attitude would mesh well with ours.

He might have been able to mesh w/the "playas', but not me, the fan! I would have had to eat a lot of humble pie, to be able to cheer for that never was been!. He talked a great game, and played an average game. The dolphins must be blind as well as stupid!@

They signed Culpepper, didn't they? I thought he had bust written all over him and was praying to God that the Ravens wouldn't sign him. He's been nothing better than average ever since he wasn't able to throw deep to Moss anymore.

If they really gave him 20 million guaranteed, it could be one of the worst signings ever.

Looks like we will get to see Joey at least one more time then.

Do we play Miami at home or away next season?
"This year, our attitude when we’re on the field is we’re attacking, we want to put points on the board and then let our defense pin their ears back and have at it."

    Away.

There are so many great away games to go to next year. Sucks so many fall in one season.
