Thomas Jones to Jets

ESPN is reporting that Thomas Jones was traded to the Jets. According to league sources, the Bears have agreed to trade RB Thomas Jones and a 2007 second-round pick (No. 63 overall) to the Jets for a 2007 second-round pick -- No. 37 overall -- which was acquired previously in a trade from Washington, ESPN.com's Michael Smith reported.

A good deal for the Bears? They sent Jones AND a second round pick to the Jets for their second round pick. Sounds to me like a good trade for the Jets.

I like it ALOT for the Jets.

Get a solid starting RB and swap 2nd rounders?

yes, i was, the bears aren't being so great this offseason. Briggs is VERY mad...problems resigning lovie smith.

Briggs is mad because he was franchised and denied a really big payday. He said that he loves the team, but hates the organization. He does NOT want to be there. Our front office guys knew what they were doing when they didn't franchise AD. Briggs is going to be a real cancer in that locker room this season.
