    Trading for Nnamdi Asomugha?

    http://bleacherreport.com/articles/3...namdi-asomugha

It would be awesome if Ozzie could pull this one off. This would give us the best secondary in the NFL.

Anything can be speculated, I guess.

Assuming the Raiders are even interested in trading him, there is no way the Ravens would meet their asking price.

Sure, and let's trade for Peyton Manning while we are at it. I'm sure the Colts would love Troy Smith and a bag of used footballs.

Seriouly, that was a horrible piece right out of fantasyland.

This article is pure speculation ...at best. Anyone on this message board could dream up an equally unlikely scenario. Hey, I've done it myself. The difference is that people may take a columnist more seriously. In cases like this, they shouldn't.

But as long as we're indulging in fantasy, why stop with just Webb for Asomugha? Let's try to get Zack Miller from Oakland at the same time. I'm sure if we threw Troy Smith into the deal, Al Davis would jump at the package. Maybe he'd even throw in a couple of draft picks.

I really hope this speculation was started out of boredom and not serious consideration that this move would happen.

I mean, seriously ... there is NO WAY he comes to the Ravens.

Someone needs to remind the author that trades you work out in the Madden VG do not generally happen in real life...

Did he seriously think we could get Nnamdi for Ladarius Webb, Jameel McClain, and Paul Kruger?

The funniest part is the comment section.

People seem to think it's a great "piece".

    Yikes.

I want those 2 minutes of my life back from reading that utterly stupid article.

Why not trade Troy Smith, Antwan Barnes and Haruki Nakamura (sp?) for Andre Johnson while we're at it?

Having a web site simply means the check cleared. It certainly doesnt make what's inside of said site factual.

    Present company excluded! ;)
