I predict that there will be some inter-marriage withe the Others - if the show lasts that long! (20% dropoff since last season)

K, I am totally into this show as well. I was getting annoyed with the this season, I just wanted some "concrete" clues to mull over with the current theories. We got that tonite in the facts that:
a) Ben has lived on the island all his life (if we are to believe him)
b) The Others have contact with the outside world. (confirmed by tape)
Knowing what we know about the Dahrma Project including some form of genetic altering, including the creation of animals that live well past their expected life span, Ben and the others could be significantly younger then they appear.

I gave up on it...that show was driving me nuts. It seemed like every episode was the same...with about 45 minutes of re-hash from the week before with only one or two new "clues" thrown in.
Get it over with already LOL!
I am very patient about some things, but very impatient about others...tv shows like this, "Jerico", and "24" wear on my patience. I like simple stuff that doesn't drive me nuts....CSI's, Numbers, and any comedy show that makes me laugh.we aren't just loyal, we are obsessed. and we are violently so. we are baltimore, and we are the epitome of dysfunctionality.

Lost kicks ass. It's the clues and the stuff you find out when you watch a flashback that keeps me hooked. Like seeing Hurley on TV in Korea when Jin is delivering a message, and discovering Liz was at the hospital with Hurley. I download and scour the episodes like a vulture picking through a carcass :D
Season 3 started out a little weird, but at least they've answered some questions and the show is finally moving again. It seemed to stagnate a bit last season, much for the reason Crowdog stated. Too much backdrop and not enough action in the middle of the season.

I'm not sure I believe anything Ben says. And who are those other people that were working with Sawyer and Freckles?
I don't know how anyone could have watched this show from the start and not keep watching it.
I want answers damn it and I want them now :hammer:Screw 'em all

I know, more questions than answers. I thought it was interesting that Ben told Kate she would have the worst 2 weeks of her life, then what? What if you have to serve time on the chain gang before you are accepted into the others. I love the show, but fear it has lost some of it's appeal with the realization of who the others are. Next week we find out how things are going with the castaways (Locke, Eko et al)
