PSL Owners...Ravens to Raise Ticket Prices for 2007

In a letter that will reach fans next week, the Ravens are notifying season-ticket holders that their seats will increase for the 2007 season.

Club seats will increase by $25 per game ($250 for the season for the eight regular season games and two preseason games), lower- level seats by $20 and upper-level seats by $10.

In the letter, the Ravens say they need their average-ticket price to be in the top half of the NFL to stay competitive. Last season, the Ravens ranked 18th (out of 32 teams)

But we didn't know it would be this bad. The old regime was a little more "incremental" in their approach to ticket increases.

Yes...I would agree. I had a 4 dollar increase per game one season and a 5 dollar increase another....10 bucks seems pretty steep..100 bucks more per season...all at once.

unfortunately, this isn't going to stop....

soon it's going to be the wine & cheese crowd or the company tickets. In a way, that's really sad. The idea of the team as the lifeblood of a city is a wonderful thing that may be leaving us forever.

Wow, that's a huge % increase for those of us at the lower end of the ticket cost spectrum.

I've never done it, but every time we get gouged a little more I understand why some fans sell off the premium games for a profit to offset season ticket costs.

Your post still makes no sense. Please detail when the raven's raised the price of a ticket from $10 to $20. Perhaps you can get a third brain cell working before you post again.

I think my tix in '96 were $30 - Crow you sit near me, is that right? Anyway, now they will be $55.

Has my salary doubled in 10 years. Umm...no :(
