    Cry-baby Manning

In the " ALL things Manning" pre-game show, there was some video, of Peeton's brother Cooper, tackling him. Peeton came up crying, (his mom said Cooper liked to make peeton cry,) and I just about fell out of my chair laughing!!! Poor peeton looked EXACTLY like he does when he runs to the sidelines whining and crying about a receiver running the wrong route, or whatever. I saw it about 5 times again last night(the whining and crying when he missed a receiver), and it just made me laugh all over again!!!

I saw that too and was thinking the same thing. "Some things never change no matter how old you get."

Do you know what his salary is? I know its pretty astronomical but I can't remember what he signed for. I have a feeling, though, that we would lose half our defense to pay it!

Gee, somehow Indy managed to win a Super bowl and become a perennial playoff team WITH that salary. The dude is going to go down as one of the greatest QBs in the history of the game. He SHOULD get that salary.

    Manning contract:

Base salary for 2005 was $665,000. (Don't know about 2006 but I assume it's similar.)

His 2004 Signing bonus was $34,500,000

His 2005 cap value was $8,435,186
In a 2003 BBC poll that asked Brits to name the "Greatest American Ever", Mr. T came in fourth, behind ML King (3rd), Abe Lincoln (2nd) and Homer Simpson (1st).

That's really what I meant. I was curious about his Cap Hit more than what he actually made this year. That's still a lot lower than I thought. I thought he was well over 10 Mil in terms of Cap Hit per year! Thanks for the info!
