Re: Roethlesberger May Not Play Sunday
It's the smartest thing for him to do. Concussions are dangerous and I'm tired of seeing them treated so lightly. If Roethlisberger gets another concussion it's the sort of thing that can cut years off his career.
There needs to be a mandate that says if someone is diagnosed with a concussion they aren't allowed to play for at least one game. It's ridiculous that people are allowed to come back that soon.

Re: Roethlesberger May Not Play Sunday
I think he plays for sure. I can't see him nothaving any symptoms of the injury and not play. This s a huge game with a lot of meaning for both the Steelers and the Ravens. Him not playing would disappoint his team I think.

Smart thing to do would be to sit out. But being the big dumb inbred that Jen is, she'll play.

Re: Roethlesberger May Not Play Sunday
I think they are playing shadow games...Ben is going to play if he's cleared...it's a divisional matchup with playoff implications, there's no better time except playoffs to try to gut it out. I think they are just trying to lull us to a false sense of security.

Re: Roethlesberger May Not Play Sunday
The league is working behind the scenes here after being embarresed by the Westbrooke incidents. During the off season we will see some new rules in place on playing after brain injuries. In the mean time, I fully think goddell is going over the coaches heads. He won't play. All speculation, of course.

He'll play, but this may not end well.

And believe it or not, I liked Dennis Dixon when he was coming out of Oregon. He scares the crap out of me with his mobility...
