    Your 2009 Ravens: Choke Artists

    Mark Clayton (Patriots)
    The Defense (Bengals)
    The Defense (Vikings)
    Hauschka (Vikings)
    Flacco (Colts)
    Reed (Colts)

This is our identity this year. Every game that is close you can expect someone to choke at the end.

Harbaugh also choked today with that incredibly stupid timeout/challenge.

Reed didn't choke. He made a bad decision. But he made the decision knowing there were 20 seconds left in the game. Stupid decision but not a choke job.

The negativity on this board is more sole destroying than the losses...

    Unreal.

Why the hell did he call the timeout BEFORE the measurement.

    Horrendous clock management.

I don't know. My shoes are still in good nick for all this chatter.

But I agree. Reed made a big pick and was part of the one-two combo that forced the fumble. I wouldn't call it choking, he tried to do more than he should have.

Good to know I'm not the only one that feels this way.

So we should be positive after a loss that should have been a win?

Reed did NOT choke today! Reed is a playmaker - you take the good with the bad! The Defense played a reallly good game today - they left it all out on the field! Why in the hek the Offensive line could NOT blow the COLTS off the line of scrimmage on the one yard line is completely EMBARRASSING - they should be ashamed of themselves! Football is blocking and tackling, and, as far as I'm concerned, that left side of the line failed miserably when they should've stepped up in this game! Having said that, the O-line protected well for Flacco today, and I think the team should be proud of their performance. They just don't seem to have enough playmakers, imo.

Good lord no!!! We should all be running for the gun cabinet to end our pitiful existence!!! We should march on M&T Stadium an burn all the players, coaches and staff in effigy. We should gather all our Ravens gear and paraphernalia into a big bonfire, and dance around in our skivies. We should....crap...outta sarcasm.

Maybe we should consider that 3 of our losses this year have been to teams with 1st ballot H.O.F.ers at QB. We should consider that 2 of our losses came at the hands of what appears to be, our divisions runaway winner. We should also consider that our 5 losses, combined total of 23 points.

Trust me, I still want to go kick the neighbors kid and stomp on frogs I'm so pissed we lost, but...we are not as bad as other teams in the NFL, so I gotta look at the positives too.
