Dave and Gordon currently at 35,000 feet - picking them up in 5 hours.

Spent the last two nights cleaning the house for their arrival, so they'd better bloody appreciate it.

Well at least this time they don't have to listen to me say.

I just hope that the questions are not condescending for our UKRavens, we know alot about football and some of us have been following the sport for 25 years.

I listened to the whole interview today.
Just happened to be in the truck at the right time.

Nothing condescending about it to me.
It was alot of questions about how all you folks got to be NFL fans and Ravens fans in particular.
    Why the Ravens?
When did they declare themselves purple, and why?

    That type of stuff.

One of the questions was why the Browns game?

Nestor told them if they come back next year he will give them tickets in his section. (he claims it's the best section in the place, but that's a matter of opinion)

Nestor told them they/you all need to come for the Steeler game rather then what should be a ass whippin' of the Browns to see what a real football game is about.

I tend to agree with him on that.
Nothing quite like the Steeler game.
You fellas from across the pond would blend in real well with us against the enemy.

One of the guys that came over said that this was a small contingent that came over this time and next year should be bigger as your wives are apparently itchin' to come over as well.

Little bit of talk about soccer or your version of football and some other BS and that was about it.

I think Nestor was kind of floored that you guys are willing to travel this far to take in a game.
    Gotta admit, that is impressive!

Nestor is kind of a self centered tadpole so he's hard to take.
Everything is usually about him and his experiences which makes him extremely annoying.

I remember the year of the Superbowl he declared on the radio that if you weren't in Tampa Bay that weekend then you weren't a real Ravens fan.

I took extreme exception to that comment and still do to this day.

Unfortunately, not all of us that love the Ravens had the opportunity to go for various reasons.

Like I said, Nestor is a borderline A-hole, but he's definitely a baltimore bread guy, and was fine with the fellas that came over on the air today.
    Will Die A Ravens Fan!!

Thanks Fanatic that was really cool. Dave & Gordon you sound good on radio.
I think I would sound even more hyped up than Nestor on his show and that's pretty hard to do.

Love the celery got into the conversation at the end.Looks like the UKRavens could build on this link. Thanks to all concerned who set this up.:respect

Dave and Gordon you know we are going to be asking for your signatures when you get back.;)

And yes Nestor we truly do bleed purple & black.

Re: Trip tread III (the last)

    Three bones of contention:

    1) Saying British food doesn't taste good is bloody rude :p

    2) Agree with Fanatic's point that the best seat in the house is a matter of opinion, but I struggle to believe there's a better seat than where I sat with Ted last year on the front row of the upper deck.

    3) One of the UKRavens has been to a Steelers game! :p I even texted Gordon to that effect during the interview but he obviously didn't get it until it was off the air. :D

Top work gents, was a good listen and re-enforced just how welcome I've been made to feel in Baltimore the two times I've been over, you guys in the Charm City are awesome.
