2.Want to see the flaw in Hensley's thinking?

All the guys he has listed as "bubble guys" will probably make it except VanDeSteeg.

ON the bubble: Barnes, Phillips, Ellerbe, Burgess, VanDeSteeg

Ellerbe is not on the bubble,he is in.

5th rounders like Phillips make the team.Always.

Burgess is another young guy who should make it.

Like I said if one of them does not go on IR Brendan will be cut.

Brendan has no long term value to this team while the others do.

With keeping Talavou it really messed things up. That was a precious spot that will come at the expense of someone.

Keeping only 4 WR just for right now might be how they get around that problem.

Keep an eye out for Gregg to go on PUP or something, got too many DT's on the roster as it stands now. I have a hunch that with Talavou making it something is up with Gregg....has to be.

Not sure about Gregg, but I thought it was interesting that Talavou got the start ahead of Bannon on Thursday.
Would have chalked it up to trying to protect Bannon from injury but he played later in the game.

Clark has still talked to more coaches and watched more practices than you, me or anybody else on this board.

As for Hemsley's bubble guys making the team...that may just be because he only has 42 guys listed as being "In". Don't think we are going into the season with all the bubble guys not making the team and a 42 man squad.

That would be pretty surprising to me, particurally since Clayton hasn't even seen the field yet.


So that leaves Harper, Wheelwright and the Duke kid standing so far.

They got to be looking at somebody else getting cut elsewhere, right?

Maybe Eron Riley really did play his way onto the team with Thursday's performance. I don't know what Wheelright would bring that Riley doesn't.

I'm sorry, but if Harper makes this team the WR coach should be fired for incompetence.

I don't know. I think they're just reluctant to let go of good players and we are especially deep on the D-line this year. You don't let good d-tackles go for poor WRs. Just doesn't make sense.

A trade I can understand, I suppose Bannan only has a year left so might be worth trying to offload him as I doubt he'll come particularly cheap.
