For every nut job quote being forced down your throat as being some main stream sentiment for our side, I have dozens of just as equally insane quotes from your side during 8 years of W. My personal favorite:

"If Bush is elected, rape will be legalized"

Ha! "Guaranteed" health care, huh? Just like the almost bankrupt medicare? Or the equally bankrupt medicaid? Or my guanteed retirement that is the bankrupt Social Security?

I know you cant imagine it. Liberty is often an abstract to your side, mocked at your elitist parties as something quaint. Explaining it to you is equally futile however, I think MSNBC is due royalties at this point you quote them so much. I've been to a town hall meeting and the only folks that are "mobs" are the Unions, evident by their purple shirts. But you keep right on drinking that kool-aid -- it keeps helping our side ten fold! ;)

really rifles??? really??? their self-enlightened minds the possibility of legit outrage against Obama doesnt even register

Explain to me the rational of bringing rifles to a speech by the Presidnt of the United States? Seriously if you even defend this you are seriously disturbed.
Color me disturbed then. See above about liberty and resorting to name calling in a debate. Why am I not surprised that:

    1. Galen cannot comprehend liberty

    2. Citizens doing something lawful produces outrage by the left

    3. not noticing the obvious media bias by the AP that somehow carrying a gun is "scary" or "disturbing".

Happens all the time here in Texas and our per capita crime rate is a fraction of the national average. No shoot outs in the street. Very few accidents.

That kind of logic will make a liberal go nuts -- haw DARE we not rely on Gubmint to protect us?!?!?!?!

    Well, well, well .....

Just when I thought the Canadian model might be the one that makes the debate for the left, Canada's top doc admits the system is imploding.

Man, the left just cant catch a break these days.

Man with rifle explains himself intelligently and with clarity and logic .... in other news, Galen slips to another realm of inability to comprehend ...

Yeah I remember well all the townhall outrage planted there by liberal corporate america to protect its profits crying out about Bush wanting to legalize rape. WTF are you talking about?. To make your statement even more absurd, I remember all the progressives walking around Bush speeches with automatic rifles strapped to their backs. Take a step back and try to see of your example is even remotely similar to what is going on right now.

Oh I cry for your lack of liberty these days. Shed a tear for it. Anytime you can have a dozen gun strapped individuals circling the President of the United States, your liberty is far from compromised. Keep up the dramatic talk though..I can just see you in Glenn Beck's image shedding a tear about lovin' your country and wondering where your liberty has gone.

Saul Alinsky principle of isolating the message. Good job!

Seriously, you really need to read more than Kos or watch more than MSNBC. I mean that. You're buying into the scare rhetoric 100%.

You have that same MSNBC flair for the dramatic -- and your projection knows no bounds. I know this is a new concept for you but people in certain states can carry guns legally in the open. And nobody was "circling the President". Gimme a break. Bush went to many a campaign rally in these very states were open carry is legal and nobody made a peep. Now there is all this faux rage from liberals who have zero concept of liberty then mock said liberty.

Looks like someone learned about Alinsky on their first day of grad school. That's fine as I would much rather see you belabour the alinsky comments then the "moving chairs around on the deck". Now we just need to see you come up with something new other then the ad hominem ad nauseum comments. Everytime you use that as a retort it flashes images of trannie coulter (insert ad hominem comment here )

If you want to know my political lineup, here it is:

    1. MSNBC yep! I watch Scarborough in the a.m. as he is actually a conservative with a healthy message and pushes back on those I call "the idiots" that are exercising their "liberties". His downfall is that like 4G3PO he only cares about money as the bottom line and fails to see that there might just be a cost for compassion. In addition to Scarborough, I watch Dylan Ratigan who has been putting together a great show I think and has his moments of criticising Obama plus he has Contessa Brewer sitting next to him which can never be a bad thing.

On Sirius Radio I listen to Thom Hartmann, Bill Press, Mark Thompson as they are on during times when I am in my car.

On the nets, I do read Dkos as well as TPM, Huff Post, The Nation, 538, Crooks and Liars, Think Progressive and my favorite The Rude Pundit and several others.

In the evenings when back home I go back to MSNBC to watch Rachel Maddow and Chris Matthews.

At the house we get the WAPO.

Thats it. Yep mostly left leaning. I watched Fox Noise during the election to watch the message crafting as thats where the rights talking points were exercised the most but for now, its poison to the mind. When I first got Sirius I listened to some right stuff like Wilcow, Church and Levin but those guys only seeth anger day in and day out and it gets old. Their agenda like the just about the entire Right at this point is anti-Obama vs. pro-America. There is nothing that progresses our country. At the bequest of Rushm they have all gotten on the "I hope Obama fails at all cost" program and for people who have to go to just great lengths to declare themselves patriots and regurgitate regularly their pigeonholed views on what liberty is and what it isn't, they truly appear very short-sighted.

Once again, putting words where there aren't any. Where have I said that $$$$ is #1? Show me.

Do you get a tingle in your leg when you watch him?
