    No Calls For Rex Ryan

    http://www.baltimoresun.com/sports/f...orts-headlines

I am glad because it keeps our coaching staff intact while the Steelers go through MAJOR changes with their staff and the Stains continue to find themselves.

I am sadbecause Ryan deserves consideration for a HC job, but maybe he's the heir apparent here in Baltimore. You never know.
    It's a new season! It's a new day!

If he's the heir apparent here, he might be waiting a really long time.

I was actually shocked about this to be perfectly honest.

He'll go somewhere. Ex-ravens coaches by and large have been at worst decent. Del Rio, Edwards, Lewis, Nolan, Singletary

Frankly, I hope he doesn't leave at this time. We need him to coach the defense through 2007. After that, I don't think there's any doubt that we'll lose him.

next year, Rex Ryan will probably be the new hot commodity for coaching vacancies. Whisenhunt was this year's top guy and he's gone, though Chicago's Ron Rivera keeps getting attention...

I predict next year, Rex will take a couple interviews, but remain here. The year after, he'll be gone.

“When I think of a Baltimore Raven - we go in there, we take your lunch box, we take your sandwich, we take your juice box, we take your applesauce, and we take your spork and we break it. And we leave you with an empty lunch. That’s the Baltimore Raven way.” - Steve Smith Sr.

Call me a Special Teams coach again. I dare you! I double dare you, MFer!
