    Any Therapy Ideas?

Anybody feel better today? I don't.

I need therapy or something. I tried these - no luck...

Working out? Got more depressed when I realized how out of shape I am
Sex? Worked until I said "Take that Billick" - my wife apparently doesn't like being called "Billick"
Getting drunk? I'm still not sober
    Getting sober? I'm afraid
    Driving fast? Almost died
Cranking up heavy metal music? Now I'm depressed with ringing ears

    Anybody have any ideas?

Like my Dad who was an old Brooklyn Dodger fan once told me:

    "Wait till next year!"

Pretend you're a Cleveland Browns fan for a day. Reflect on their last 8 seasons and it will put everything into perspective :)

Yeah, wait until the Patriots beat the Colts next week.

"Time" seems like too long to wait.

I think I will just watch the game on TV today. Maybe rehashing the event and seeing on TV what I didn't see live will cause feelings of anger to replace those of despair. At least then I won't be mentally paralyzed.

Losing my wife and half my stuff wouldn't feel this bad.

Employers of Ravens fans are losing money today.

I think the only worse thing would be death of my husband, kids or parents.

Speaking as a therapist, just give yourself time. If your depression lasts around 6 months, then you should talk to someone. Momentary depression is not abnormal unless it stems from a traumatic event, and the Ravens losing to the Colts does not qualify.
    It's a new season! It's a new day!
