    Brooking signs with the Cowboys

Looks like they have pulled that $25 million Preston said they offered a couple weeks back.

    BROOKING LANDS WITH THE 'BOYS

Posted by Mike Florio: Saturday, February 28, 2009 5:59 PM

Well, the farewell statement from the Falcons now makes sense.

Though not yet announced, Alex Marvez of FOXSports.com reports that veteran linebacker Keith Brooking has signed a three-year deal with the Cowboys.

The move likely confirms that the Cowboys won't be making a play for Ravens linebacker Ray Lewis, and it reunites Brooking with former Falcons defensive coordinator Wade Phillips, who's now the head coach and defensive coordinator in Dallas.
That one hit Ray right in the gut......another body shot.

They start to add up over time.

Haha alright Ray time to come back now. You thought you were the hottest commodity but you didn't realize that just because you say you feel like you're 25 and you feel better than ever that doesn't mean it's true. We all know you aren't as good as you were in your prime but unlike everybody else in the NFL, we still love you anyway. I know it hurts but we do all love you here so just end this humiliation. We forgive you, so come back now and if you're lucky maybe Ozzie won't lessen his original, more than generous, offer.

ozzie should take his original offer off the table and tell ray we will match antone elses offer,,, then we can have ray for zero,,, thats all anyone else has offered??????????? honestly 3/24mil is way overpaying and he balked at that, now we should say 3 years 18 mil guaranteed and make him a player/coach if he gets hurt in the first year or 2
