clock ticking on GWilliams?
this week the Terps got destryed by Duke, losing by 40 points, then returned home to blow a 16-point lead to lose to (unranked) BC.
anyone else think UMd will pull the plug on Coach Williams in another year or two? he seems to be a great game coach and motivator, but the talent isn't there. I don't think anyone expects UM to be a consistent top-10 team but they haven't been ranked the last few years and usually miss the NCAA tourney. considering the competition (Duke, UNC) this program seems pretty 3rd-rate these days."Nothing stops these Baltimore Ravens. Beat them, injure them, shove them to the bottom of the standings, drag them into a hostile environment and mount a big lead, and they just keep trudging forward like nothing fazes them." yes, glad to see things turning around a bit. hopefully he can hang with UNC/Duke next few weeks. I hear they recruited some monster kid from NY.
kudos for Harbs (And Stevie Ray) to wave the flag for him."Nothing stops these Baltimore Ravens. Tonight's game is huge. A loss puts the Terps on the brink of elimination from the NCAA tourney, while a victory makes it likely that Maryland gets in.

Terps go dancing. Sweet! that win over Wake sealed the deal.
good job Coach Williams!"Nothing stops these Baltimore Ravens. Beat them, injure them, shove them to the bottom of the standings, drag them into a hostile environment and mount a big lead, and they just keep trudging forward like nothing fazes them." (Bleacher Report)

Re: clock ticking on GWilliams?
Thanks Terps for what turned out to be a terrif year.
what a comparisom with Wake; they have top-10 talent and a top-10 year and get skunked in ACC and NCAA tournaments. MD gets to the ACC semis and upsets Cal in the first round (the first upset). no shame losing to Memphis in round 2.
see ya next year coach!
(any hope Grevious stays?..)"Nothing stops these Baltimore Ravens. Beat them, injure them, shove them to the bottom of the standings, drag them into a hostile environment and mount a big lead, and they just keep trudging forward like nothing fazes them." (Bleacher Report)
