Re: If only
The thing is it's not just a game, we all invest so much financially and emotionaly into our respective team.
We all live vicariously thorugh our team and when they loose, we all feel it. So no it's not just a game and this is our Message Board where we come to vent and recover.
So I'm with Art in this one, if you didn't like it, to fucking bad

Re: If only
Peyton looks like Johnny U? I never noticed Johnny whining with the refs everytime there was a call that might not go his teams way.

Re: If only
See 2005, 2004.
Was McNair the only reason we made the playoffs? Hell no.
Was McNair a reason why we finished 13-3, with a 1st round bye? He played a big part in it.
This year, with Boller as our QB, I can still seeing our team in the playoffs, but not 13-3, and not as good of a team.
Don't think this is a shot at Boller, because it isn't, so put the pitchfork down.
McNair sucked yesterday, plain and simple, but don't disregard what he did for the team, and what he did to help us get to 13-3 in the first place.
Do you believe that if Boller is the starter, that Billick would make a completely different gameplan, and our offense would be that different?
If so, what makes you think that? I just want to see what other people think our season would be like, say if Boller was the starter.

Re: If only
Boller came in and played well against the Panthers but I can't say we would be 13-3 with him at QB. He just doesn't have any poise in the pocket. McNair would complete the pass with a defender in his face, whereas Boller would duck and take a sack or throw the INT.
