Nope, Ward hits after whistles, not just during the 'echo' of the whistle but wel;l after. He also does his damnedest to hit someone when they aren't looking, and the player is nowhere near the play going on - then he gores for a 'block'. A block that is on a player 15 yards from the play looking in the other direction...

That is a cheapshot, dirty player. Sorry, but it is true.

I agree he's a dirty player. Even if his hits come before the whistle he looks to clock guys away from the play when they aren't looking. It may not be illegal but it sucks big time.

There are a lot of local issues that play out in front of national audience that make us look bad.

The cheers of the Raven faithful as Hines Ward crawls off the field is a black eye I'm willing to live with.

Or a missing front tooth. I'd like to see him smile with that...
