Re: Should Clayton return punts in the Playoffs?
Keep Ross, who is to say Clayton is any better....do you really want to find out during a playoff game??? I mean everyone wants the PR/KR to run it in for a TD everytime. BJ sams was great getting the yards we needed and sure hands. Ross, althought fumbled a few times, has never lost the ball, we dont get the yards sams did but rather not lose the ball or lose a wr to injury. Stay the course.

Re: Should Clayton return punts in the Playoffs?
I would like to see Clayton on punt return. He has experience doing it and is tough as nails. Ross is fine on kick returns but just like everyone else is saying the punt returns remind me of Lamont Frightful. I mean this strictly in the playoffs, not going onto next year.
As far as next year and BJ Sams, what is his suspension status after he gets convicted of another DUI? I think the trial is set for March. He would have at least a 4 game suspension?

Re: Should Clayton return punts in the Playoffs?
I like your idea PR...rotate Mason and Clayton. Ross is about as bad as it gets...and it's not his fault. But shame on the Ravens if they don't do something to improve this situation. They have 2 weeks now to work on it.

Re: Should Clayton return punts in the Playoffs?
Ross is not a return specialist from what I have heard. From what I have heard/ read they are using him to save Mason / Clayton from injury. So Ross has been put in a spot where his chances of success are not very good. So I blame the coaches / organization more than I blame Ross.

Re: Should Clayton return punts in the Playoffs?
As I understand it, the only reason Ross is on the roster is because he is a return specialist (supposedly). What else does he do?

Re: Should Clayton return punts in the Playoffs?
I think he took a snap in the Bills game at one of the receiver positions, and McNair threw him the ball in the flat but it fell incomplete. I could be remembering wrong, apologies if I am.

Re: Should Clayton return punts in the Playoffs?
I'm not a big fan of playing regular position players at PR during the season. But it's playoff time now and Ross has been substandard. Field position is HUGE as well as just holding on to the ball.
If it was my decision I would risk it for 3 games.

Yes, we need the reliability and explosiveness.
