Interesting Ravens stats (most dominant D by far)

The Ravens lead the league, defensively, in:

    First downs per game
    Yards per game
    Points per game

    Third down percentage

Total penalty yardage (but are 2nd in total penalties) by nearly 100 yards.

    Rushing TDs

Completion percentage (tied with New Orleans)

    Interceptions
    Turnover margin

Sack yards (despite having 3 fewer sacks than the chargers, their sacks account for 54 more total yards...and as an aside, the Redskins are by FAR the wrost in this category with only 88, the only team under 100, made me laugh a little)

    Total TDs given up

And that is all the stuff that the Ravens are #1 in the NFL. There is plenty more that they are top 5 that I didn't bother listing.

And yet everyone praises the Chargers. Actually, they praise Tomlinson and Merriman and Gates...does anyone in our team get more talked about than anyone else? And that's not mentioning the guys who aren't talked about at all, such as Pryce and Gregg. This is a TEAM, baby!

If the Chargers make it as far as playing the Ravens, they'll be picking grass out of their teeth and cleats from their asses. Let them bask in the light till then.

Believe it or not, San Diegoans have been duped into believing that they will dominate us if they play us again this season.

I just sit back and laugh, safe in the knowledge that we are a FAR better team right now than we were then. Every game it appears that we grow in confidence in our abilities. The only things that can stop us now are penalties and turnovers.

SD may have more sacks than we do, but that's cause they're on the field more. We also lead the NFL in sacks per play.
