Re: Did Heap have one catch last night?!
As far as the Chop Block I understand why they make the call and why the NFL wants to keep it from happening, however that was just a case of 2 guys going for the same block. I guess it is like the Zero Tolerance rules in schools that make them kick a 1st grader out for having a blade in his pencil sharpener. Kinda stupid but the rule. And really are the stripes smart enough to make judgment calls.

Re: Did Heap have one catch last night?!
As our OL gets more experience
I think Heap will be released more as a receiver.

Re: Did Heap have one catch last night?!
In our "chop-block", Le'Ron hits first (though it is close) with a legal cut. A beat later, the lineman comes in high.
I know they take chop-blocking real seriously, and you probably won't ever get the benefit of the doubt, but I didn't think that was a good call.
Interested in other opinions
The play in our game was obviously (at least to me) incidental. It wasn't classic chop-block technique (they took bad angles) and the two players arrived at almost the same time.
