Steelers are due....
...for an asswhooping!! Big Ben had his ass handed to him by the Eagles D and I'm sure he still has nightmares about Bart Scott's sack from several years ago. He knows we want to prove we're the class of the AFC North and will be gunning for him. I think if we can get after Big Ben and run a conservative O we will prove to everyone out there (read: the nat'l media) how tough the 2008 Baltimore Ravens are!!!!

Re: Steelers are due....
Didn't see it but read on ESPN that it was 9 sacks, either way they got
Funny, I don't think any of the announcers on sports center actually talked about the Ravens or said the words "Ravens" or "Baltimore" maybe i missed it.
But what they did say was all about how they didn't think the Browns were actually that bad, no mention of us, like they lost to a team no one had heard of.
This is becoming a pattern, i wonder if they will pretend the Steelers are playing "no one" next week as the Ravens stomp an even larger hole in that excuse for an offensive line.

Morbius is right....the 'Football Night in America' show on NBC never even said anything about the Ravens...just how the Browns are supposed to be contenders but are 0-3. I think Harbs and Ray Ray will play that up though....

Re: Steelers are due....
While I never count a divisional opponent out this early, these Steelers remind me of the 2006 Steelers that went 8-8.
Early on in that season, they dropped 3 straight and never recovered. I also seem to remember Ben was hurt early on and had nagging injuries all year. Or did Maddox play?
Either way, if we can punch them in the face next Monday, we will have a strong hold on the division.

Re: Steelers are due....
apparently BBen bounced his hand off a helmet; should recover.
I hope we can get a play or two early and quiet that place. this should be a huge one. bet the networks are glad they're showing this one."Nothing stops these Baltimore Ravens. Beat them, injure them, shove them to the bottom of the standings, drag them into a hostile environment and mount a big lead, and they just keep trudging forward like nothing fazes them." (Bleacher Report)

Without wishing to sound negative here but - this is the same Steelers team that thrashed us last time around. You can tell from my sentiment that it hurt me so much last time, that it will take a lot for me to be positive until after the game!
Like most of you it's a kick in the b$%&ocks when the Ravens lose!
