Re: Ravens vs Vikings!
Pashos is as sad a sack as they get. I don't think he's blocked his man once.

Re: Ravens vs Vikings!
I'm here. A bit confused on the deal, here. I can only run a game thread on one board.
Am I the only one watching this thinking this is the same old Ravens?

Re: Ravens vs Vikings!
There are certainly some similarities.
-Same crap OL play.
-Same uninventive playcalling (temporary pass for it being preseason)
-Overly complex defensive scheme that effectively reduces the individual talent of the players.
-Poor scheming for quick passes and TEs.
McNair made one bad decision. I won't kill him too much. It was a really, really bad one, but the QB of time past made way more than that in a half.

BTW, I have no problems running the game threads over here, but I'd like to wait until they get more members over here. Too slow right now. I need exposure baby, exposure!

Re: Ravens vs Vikings!
Billick needs to find out what it is that makes the OL play so bad on the road. They can play reasonably well at home, as they did the past two weeks, but it all falls apart on the road.
And I think Rex Ryan needs to get back to basics. Find a way to defend the TE. Forget his complex playbook until we can execute simple schemes.''You'd love to go on the first day but I'm glad for the situation I'm in,'' he said. ''Baltimore knows how to play defense.''

Poor Sephy, he's torn. LOL
Run it on this one, Sephy. Most of the regulars have registered here anyway.
Ease up on McNair, people, it's hjis pre-season too, anjd he is still getting the nuances of the playbook down and learning the capabilities of his teamates.
It will be ironic though, if Boller comes in the second half and once again wins the game.ENFORCE THE 1ST AMENDMENT WITH THE SECOND, NEVER DISARM

Hah. Well maybe I can start one over there and just link the thread here ;) I prefer the board format here anyway. Lightyears beyond EZboard. I still rue the day RN2 went to Scout/EZboard.

I'm new to these game threads since never been away w/o TV before. Is there a score? Can anyone synopsize the game outside of the OL sucks and McNair can't throw deep?

Re: Ravens vs Vikings!
You can check my thread on the other board if it makes you happy. Its 10-0 Vikings right now. McNair looked OK, but threw a pick for 6. Defense playing great against the run, poorly against the pass, especially quick passes.
