Re: Ravens Game Rescheduled
The LA Coliseum is neutral...
I'm just sayin is all. I'd be there ;)
Even if I had to call in dead to work and put the tickets on a credit card.
But as it sounds now I'm not even going to get to see it on TV let alone in person... :(Keeping the purple flowing way out on the West Coast!

Re: Ravens Game Rescheduled
I doubt it. That was the channel it was supposed to be on Sunday. Someone probably copied it and didn't remove the DIRECTV channels.
I'm really angry about this. I pay $350 for 14 Ravens games (2 are on national TV). That's $25/game. Because of ESPN's greed and arrogance, I lose $25. I used to go to an ESPNZone a couple of times a year and spend more than $25 each time. They can forget about it now. I'm not going back there for a long time.

Re: Ravens Game Rescheduled
The NFL and ESPN announced they changed their mind. Sunday Ticket customers throughout the country will now be able to see Monday's Ravens-Texans game. (It will be blacked out for Sunday Ticket subscribers the Houston and Baltimore areas, where the game will be on CBS instead).

Just posted on PFT.com
RAVENS-TEXANS GAME WILL AIR ON DIRECTV
Posted by Mike Florio on September 12, 2008, 4:32 p.m.
Well, we’re not quite sure why or how it happened, but the good folks at the NFL and ESPN have decided that the Monday night game between the Baltimore Ravens and Houston Texans will be available to DirecTV customers.
“After taking a closer look at it, we have decided that our Sunday Ticket subscribers will receive Monday night’s telecast of the Baltimore Ravens at Houston Texans game,” NFL spokesman Greg Aiello told us by e-mail a few moments ago.
The game won’t be available via DirecTV in Baltimore or Houston, but it wouldn’t be available via DirecTV in those cities if they played the game on Sunday. In those cities, it can be seen on the local CBS affiliate.
Kudos to the league and ESPN for doing the right thing.

Re: Ravens Game Rescheduled
Don't get too excited that the game is on DTV. Everyone should have serious doubts that the game is being played Monday night, at least in Houston. Methinks there is less than 5% chance that happens.
''You'd love to go on the first day but I'm glad for the situation I'm in,'' he said. ''Baltimore knows how to play defense.''

Re: Ravens Game Rescheduled
I'll put my next pay check on that 5% claim.
At worst, Houston will see the storm downgrade to Cat 1 by the time the storm gets inland (assuming the storm doesnt do anything weird in the next 8 hours). The storm will be completely gone by out of the Houston area (and a tropical storm) by this time tomorrow. Come Sunday, the storm will be so far north it isnt even worth mentioning.
