    Ravens Introduce Home Game Transportation

In an effort to ease traffic congestion and give fans an alternative to travel to home games, the Ravens are introducing “Home Game Transportation.” Fans may purchase tickets for individual games or a season pass package (8 games) at a discounted rate. The pass must be purchased by Sunday, Sept. 7 to secure the discounted rate. It is suggested that reservations be made in advance. Pre-payment is required to guarantee a seat.

Fans will be dropped off near M&T Bank Stadium in the same locations as previous years. Fans with disabilities can be accommodated with this service. Call in advance to discuss specific service needs.

Seeing those prices, my $30/game tailgate parking fee looks like a bargain.
In a 2003 BBC poll that asked Brits to name the "Greatest American Ever", Mr. T came in fourth, behind ML King (3rd), Abe Lincoln (2nd) and Homer Simpson (1st).

Yeah, it is a hit in the wallet, but I still purchased the season pass for 144 smackeroos. It is a convenience. I do not have to contend with losing my temper in traffic, finding parking, paying out the wazoo for it, and then walking two miles to the stadium.

Drive into the city, park over in Fells / Canton and water taxi over to the harbor side.

Good view, a nice short walk and zero traffic on the west side of the city when the game lets out.

But, but, but... I am afraid to drive in the big scary city. Honestly, that seems like a good idea HR. I am going to get my money back.

Water Taxi = $9.00 round trip

Parking = Free on the street

Having the bars right there when you get back = Priceless!

I posted this in the thread I started yesterday about the bus :

I remember when it was $5 a game with MTA. Heck I can spend $20 driving myself and park where I want, etc. No way in hell will I spend $20-25 to use the bus if its the same crappy service it has been the last few years. Drivers getting lost, not getting dropped off near the stadium, and waiting an hour to get out of the lot to just get on 295.

lightrail is the best for the price, provided you live near the line. Robert E Lee park is a 5 minute drive for me, use it every time i go down.

LR may be the best price but the ride can be awful. The lines to get on after the game are horrible. People are rude and will push you out of the way to squeeze on. I'm not sure the LR can do this but I would hope they could add some cars to get more people on.

Subway for me. $3.60 round trip and a short walk by the bars.
The only advantage on the Rohrbaughs busses is that there will be a bathroom on them for those of us with small bladders
