How do we want the Strls/Pats/Browns to do this year?
how do we want the Stealers, Cheatriots and Brownies to do this year? Do we want the Pats/Stlrs to make the playoffs so we can eliminate them? Collapse to 4-12? or go 8-8 and just miss the postseason and get mediocre draft position? (either would be fine with me.)
Brownies? Derek Anderson, Jamal Lewis? Personally I hope they do well, as long as it's not as well as we. What say we take the AFCN at 11-5 and Cleveland gets a wc at 10-6? (this isn't so much prediction as personal wish).
any thots?"Nothing stops these Baltimore Ravens. Beat them, injure them, shove them to the bottom of the standings, drag them into a hostile environment and mount a big lead, and they just keep trudging forward like nothing fazes them." (Bleacher Report)

As Ravens fans you should only care about the Steelers, Browns and Bengals until you get to game 13/14 and need to start looking at who is going to make the playoffs. Hopefully we will be able to realistically begin to look at the playoffs at game 13/14.
I root for any team that plays the Steelers, Browns and Bengals. When they play each other I root for either a tie or a bomb to go off.

yeahbut...as an NFL fan I loathe the Cheatriots, and I am muchly wanting them to get smacked this year. perhaps their D will age and they'll give up 30 points in the playoffs and get bumped in the first round (if they make it at all!)
if they played the Squalers for the AFC title I'd get ill and not watch it."Nothing stops these Baltimore Ravens. Beat them, injure them, shove them to the bottom of the standings, drag them into a hostile environment and mount a big lead, and they just keep trudging forward like nothing fazes them." If it were mathematically possible for all three teams to go 0-16, that's what I would want.
Barring that, I'll take
Steelers 0 - 16
Bengals 2 - 14
Browns 2 - 14
Which, by the way, makes us AFC North champs.Festivus

I'm not sure why the Patriots are even in this discussion, but I certainly want our divisional rivals to all do badly. The worse they do, the better for us.
Since you brought up the Patriots, I would be very happy if they missed the playoffs, but I don't see that happening.

if the question were phrased more like "which team would you rather play in the playoffs?", I'd say the Browns.
The Pats nearly crumbled against us last year, but in a playoff game, they are definitley tough to beat, and definiltye not someone I'd want to roll the dice against. The Steelers are going to be tough as well...they've got a decent 3 wide attack, which exposed our depleted secondary last year. Combine that with their running game (Willie Parker AND Rashard Mendenhall), thats a potent offense. Their defense is still pretty strong too...
The Browns are a team just coming into a SB run. Their offense is going to be much better this year and their defense is decent. That said, I think we match up a bit better against them...I think we can shut down the running game pretty well against them, and with a healthy, better conditioned secondary this year, I think we can go toe to toe with their passing offense. We just need our offense to play smarter and I think we have a decent shot against them..

“When I think of a Baltimore Raven - we go in there, we take your lunch box, we take your sandwich, we take your juice box, we take your applesauce, and we take your spork and we break it. And we leave you with an empty lunch. That’s the Baltimore Raven way.” - Steve Smith Sr.
Call me a Special Teams coach again. I dare you! I double dare you, MFer!

I want all of them to be as good as they can be, with fully healthy teams. I dont want any crying about injuries when they get their butts handed to them.
