Kucinich Introduces Single Article of Impeachment for President Bush
Congressmember Dennis Kucinich has introduced a single article of impeachment against President Bush. The article accuses Bush of deceiving Congress to authorize the invasion of Iraq. Kucinich says he introduced the measure in part to simplify the thirty-five articles of impeachment he introduced against Bush a month ago. This week, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi suggested the House Judiciary Committee could soon take up the measure.

Yawn.
Id agree with it if there was deception. But when every member of the UN Security Council was saying the same thing about Iraq before the war, you kinda lose your cred. The majority of the people know this is a joke.
I can see it now. Bush will subpoena all 9 heads of state. Botox Nancy will pull a "Bush Lied, People Died" bumper sticker from her suitcase and say "see, I told you so!"
I, for one, hope the Democrats actually pull this off. That will be the fastest way for the GOP to get back Congress.

Its probably slightly more important than the BJ impeachment.
If Clinton were a decent man who would have resigned over the BJ and not committed the felony.

over 500 metric TONS...
And the necessary delivery equipment, it simply wasn't put together... I don't think the intel was NEARLY as bad as we were led to believe. He could have had a full scale Nuclear program within a month or two.

I don't think he had the ability to turn the yellow cake into weapons grade material, you need some pretty sophisticated centrifuges for that.

I read one article that said that, and another that basically said he could have been up and running in short order if he wanted to...
So let's put it this way, the intel was NOWHERE near as off, as we were led to believe.

Except for the little fact that both U.N. inspectors and the IAEA documented the so reported yellowcake, which had been stored in aging drums and containers since before the 1991 Gulf War.
There was no evidence of any yellowcake dating from after 1991...except of the course the ever elusive nigerian connection which ended up blowing up in the face of the current administration via Valerie Plame. But credit Rove and the likes of anne (sic) coulter for minimizing this incident by calling it no more than a liberal bumper sticker.

Want to bet retirement savings???? I'm in if you are.
I was going to say something here as well but couldn't come up with anything that would do your comments justice. AS William Hurt once said in The Big Chill, "Sometimes just have to let art flow over you to appreciate it" minor paraphrasing of course.

Thanks for changing that. The dumbest pres we have EVER had does not deserve to be called a genius. That gives stupidity a bad name!!! UGH! And no, we will not even be thankful. He has de-stabilized the entire region, and the effects of that will linger long after we are gone! The fallout of his stupidity will take a century to completely unfold. In the meantime, he has shown the world that we are not as mighty as we think, or as they had thought. And THAT is the absolute worst consequence of his actions!
